Overview

Refineries hold propane as a liquid in horizontal bullet vessels under superimposed pressure. The low dielectric constant makes level hard to read, and on a refinery a single instrument is a single point of failure. VEGADIF 85 derives level by differential pressure — a second, independent method that keeps the reading available and the plant safe when one measurement is in doubt.
