COSEC APTA Mobile

Make the phone the credential with the Matrix COSEC APTA mobile app — mark attendance automatically by GPS/Wi-Fi, open doors by QR code or a Bluetooth tap, and handle leave, tours, corrections, and approvals from iOS or Android, with no readers to install.

Putting a biometric or card reader on every door — and every remote site — is expensive and slow: devices, wiring, installation, and an annual maintenance contract for each point, and it still doesn't help the field employee who never passes a fixed door or the glass entrance a reader can't be mounted on.

Matrix COSEC APTA turns the one device every employee already carries into their attendance terminal and access credential. Staff mark attendance automatically as their phone enters a designated GPS/Wi-Fi zone, open doors by scanning a QR code or tapping the phone over Bluetooth, and view attendance, apply for leave or tour, and submit corrections from the app — while managers approve and plan schedules from theirs. iOS and Android, no hardware to roll out.

Capabilities

Attendance on Move — it marks itself when staff reach the site

COSEC APTA marks attendance automatically when an employee's phone enters or leaves a location you define by GPS and Wi-Fi — no manual punch, no queue at a reader, no card to carry. Administrators set and save the zones; the phone becomes the credential.

For field staff who never come through the office, and for a whole shift arriving at once, attendance is captured at the place and moment it actually happens.

Access by QR code — turn any door into a reader

Access by QR code — turn any door into a reader

Where mounting a biometric or card reader is impractical or costly — glass doors, temporary sites, high-traffic entrances — a QR code does the job. Employees scan it with the phone camera inside the COSEC app to mark attendance and gain entry, and multiple QR codes keep entry and exit moving without congestion.

No expensive hardware, no wiring, no annual maintenance contract.

Access by Bluetooth — a tap, from a distance

Bluetooth® turns a gesture into a credential: an employee shakes or taps their registered phone near the entry, or rotates it to open a door from a short distance — no touchscreen PIN, no extra device to press.

The phone-to-server link is encrypted, only registered phones are authorized, and the approach lowers both false-accept and false-reject rates — secure, hands-free access that installs anywhere.

Cloud Deployment — COSEC VYOM

The COSEC APTA mobile app reports to a COSEC VYOM cloud tenant hosted on AWS — no on-site server and no door hardware to install. Onboarding is just sending staff the app, which makes it the fastest way to extend attendance and access to field and multi-site teams.
