Water and wastewater treatment runs on precise level, pressure, and flow measurement at every stage — intake and storage, chemical dosing and filtration, sludge digestion, and discharge monitoring — in conditions that punish standard instrumentation: fluctuating levels, chemical exposure, outdoor installation. IPTech's IIoT sensors hold up in bank-filtration basins, reverse-osmosis trains, digesters, and sludge storage tanks alike. The same utility also runs service vehicles between treatment plants, pumping stations, and remote wellheads, and depends on a link back to SCADA from sites with no fixed network. GPS fleet tracking covers the first; managed M2M and NB-IoT SIM connectivity covers the second, carrying Modbus, CAN bus, and RS-485 telemetry from remote pumping stations and substations over cellular where wired SCADA isn't an option. One supplier for the instrumentation inside the plant, the fleet that maintains it, and the connectivity that keeps remote stations visible — not three separate contracts.
