The Jimi IoT PB705 is a Bluetooth Low Energy asset tag with no SIM card, used as a hidden fallback to find stolen vehicles and other assets after thieves remove the main GPS tracker. The PB705 has no cellular radio, so an RF detector hunting for cellular signals has nothing to find. The PB705 transmits only on Bluetooth Low Energy (2402-2480 MHz, FCC ID 2AMLF-PB705), and passing smartphones on a crowd-sourced network report its location. Thieves often sweep a stolen vehicle with an RF detector and pull the GPS tracker before driving far. At 42.5 mm across and 24 mm deep, the PB705 fits behind trim, under a seat or inside a toolbox, and a replaceable CR14250 800 mAh battery powers it with no power cable to the vehicle for anyone to trace. The PB705 housing is rated IP68 when fully closed, operates from -20 °C to +70 °C, and has an 80 dB buzzer to pinpoint the tag at close range. PB705 location updates depend on phones nearby, so in empty areas a position can arrive late, sometimes up to 30 minutes. The PB705 does not replace a live GPS tracker. The PB705 is the fallback when the main tracker has been found and removed, and the same tag also works on trailers, equipment and luggage.
